Each year an election will be held to elect two qualified individuals into the NISA Hall of Fame. The player category will be voted on annually. The manager, umpire, and special category will be voted on a rotating basis.
Hall of Fame inductees will receive Hall of Fame plaque at the Opening Ceremony. A Sponsor must nominate the individual, sending in a picture of the individual and filling out a bio of that persons accomplishments and involvement in the NISA Events along with a check for $175 if elected.
Qualifications
Player Category – Candidates must have demonstrated outstanding playing ability during their playing years. Must have played in at least 7 world or national tournaments and must have been named to all-American or the all-tourney teams 5 times. Must have participated in NISA Events for 5 years.
Manager Category – Mangers must have managed in at least 7 world or national tournaments. Must have finished in the top five at least five times.
Umpire Category – Must have done 5 years as an NISA Umpire and have at least ten years of service at state, national or world tournaments.
Director Category – Must have at least ten years of service with the NISA as a director when nominated. Must have demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities and exemplary concern for the NISA.
Special Category – Must have sponsored an NISA sanctioned team or contributed to the NISA in a way that helped promote or assisted in the growth of the association. Must have exhibited a minimum of five years of sponsorship or contributions.
